Touch down in Istanbul and settle into your hotel before meeting your fellow travelers for the first time or maybe you’ve already made some connections in the pre-trip WhatsApp group. What starts as strangers quickly turns into new friends over the course of the journey.
Kick off the adventure with a private sunset cruise along the Bosphorus. Feel the breeze, watch the skyline glow in golden hour, and soak in the energy of this vibrant city. Later, gather for your first group dinner to taste the bold, diverse flavors of Turkish cuisine, blending Ottoman, Mediterranean, Central Asian, and Eastern European influences.
Today is all about Istanbul’s historic and architectural gems. Start with the majestic Süleymaniye Mosque, then venture underground into the mysterious Basilica Cistern with its dimly lit arches and Medusa-head columns. Finally, marvel at the Hagia Sophia, a structure that has evolved from cathedral to mosque to museum and back again, leaving centuries of history in its walls.
The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace before heading to Cappadocia for a completely different landscape.
Rise early for an unforgettable sunrise hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia’s surreal landscapes fairy chimneys, valleys, and mountains that look straight out of a storybook.
Afterward, hike through the region’s unique rock formations, ancient castles, and open-air museums. In the evening, enjoy a lively Turkish dinner show, complete with music, dance, and local flair
Take the morning at your own pace, revisiting Cappadocia’s wonders or relaxing. In the afternoon, try your hand at traditional Turkish pottery with guidance from a master sculptor, creating your own ceramic keepsake to take home.
Tonight is laid-back with dinner at the hotel featuring classic Turkish dishes like Çiğ Köfte, Lahmacun, and Balik Ekmek.
Leave Cappadocia for the picturesque village of Şirince in Izmir province. After checking in, enjoy lunch with panoramic views of the hills, then savor a wine and olive oil tasting. Dip fresh bread into locally-produced olive oil while sampling the region’s renowned wines, surrounded by stunning scenery.
The evening is yours to relax and soak in the village charm under the stars.
Start the day with a traditional Turkish hammam, a steam bath ritual that refreshes both body and mind. Later, join a hands-on cooking class to prepare authentic Turkish dishes using fresh, local ingredients from eggplant and lentils to pistachios.
End the day with a sweet finale: baklava, the classic Turkish dessert, rich, flaky, and full of history.
Explore the ancient ruins of Ephesus, a vast archaeological site dating back to 10th century BC and home to Greek, Roman, and Byzantine civilizations.
Afterwards, head to Bodrum on the Aegean coast. Relax with your travel crew over a meze platter and take in the stunning seaside views.
Spend your final day sailing the Turquoise Coast aboard a traditional Gulet. Discover hidden coves, tranquil waters, and breathtaking scenery while sipping wine and enjoying the serenity of the Aegean.
End the evening with a farewell dinner, reflecting on an incredible week of adventure, culture, and friendship.
Say goodbye to your travel friends and pick up a few souvenirs to bring a piece of Turkey home. If your journey isn’t over, consider extending your trip to Barcelona and the South of France, with easy flights from Istanbul ready to take you to your next adventure.
