Group itinerary

Welcome to South Africa, a land so vast it’s like combining the United States, China, India, and most of Europe into one! After touching down, meet your new travel crew and settle into a safari lodge surrounded by the stunning African bush.

Kick off the adventure with a guided bush walk, spotting wildlife in their natural habitat, followed by an authentic African-style braai (BBQ) in a boma a traditional open-air enclosure built for gathering around a fire. There’s nothing quite like dinner under the stars with the distant calls of lions and leopards echoing in the night.

Start the day early with a close encounter with elephants thriving freely in their protected reserve. Cameras ready these gentle giants make for unforgettable memories!

Next, embark on a scenic mini Panorama Tour through Mpumalanga, capturing awe-inspiring sights like the Three Rondavels and Bourke’s Luck Potholes. As evening falls, return to the lodge and enjoy dinner in the boma a slow-cooked potjie stew over an open fire while the sun sets across the horizon.

Rise with the sun for a full-day safari in Kruger National Park. Keep your eyes peeled for the legendary Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and buffalo.

Pause midday for a lunch break at a rest camp, soaking in the wild landscapes around you, before heading back out for a golden-hour game drive. As sunset bathes the savannah in warm light, relish the surreal beauty of wildlife moving through the bush, then unwind at camp with dinner and stories by the fire.

Today is yours to customize! Join a morning game drive, take a guided nature walk, or simply relax at the lodge plunge pool included while soaking up the serene African scenery.

Your final afternoon game drive may include spotting playful monkeys, hippos bathing in nearby waters, or even a young leopard honing its skills. As night falls, savor these last moments in the bush with your new friends before moving on to the next leg of the journey.

After a leisurely morning, fly to Cape Town and venture into the Stellenbosch wine region. Nestled among rolling vineyards and breathtaking landscapes, Stellenbosch is South Africa’s premier destination for food and wine enthusiasts.

Kick off the adventure with a stroll through the charming town and enjoy an evening with your crew sampling local vintages. The perfect way to toast your arrival in the Western Cape!

Spend the day exploring the heart of the Cape Winelands. Wander through historic Stellenbosch, admire sprawling vineyards and gardens, and savor wine tastings paired with local delicacies such as cheese, charcuterie, and olive oils.

This region, with over 300 years of winemaking heritage, is a paradise for oenophiles and offers picture-perfect landscapes at every turn.

Return to Cape Town for a guided tour of the city’s rich history from early San inhabitants to Dutch and British colonial influence, Nelson Mandela’s legacy, and the story of Robben Island.

Explore the colorful Bo Kaap neighborhood, famous for its 18th-century brightly painted houses, and enjoy a traditional Cape Malay lunch in a local home. For adventure seekers, conquer the iconic Lion’s Head hike and watch the sunset over the city for unforgettable panoramic views.

Drive along the legendary Cape Peninsula for one of the world’s most scenic coastal routes. Visit Muizenberg Beach with its iconic beach huts and laid-back surf vibe, then continue to Boulders Beach to meet the African penguin colony.

Stop for lunch in a seaside town, then return to Cape Town for an evening at your leisure whether that’s rooftop cocktails, dancing, or exploring the city’s nightlife with your crew.

Your final day is all about soaking up Cape Town’s charms. Lounge on Clifton or Noordhoek beaches, stroll historic streets, or take a helicopter ride for panoramic views of Table Mountain and the coastline.

In the evening, gather for a farewell dinner, celebrating your journey from safari to city, wildlife to wine, and everything in between.

On departure day, enjoy one last breakfast with the group, reflecting on memories made from the bush to the beach. Whether heading home or continuing your African adventure, South Africa leaves an indelible mark.

With excellent flight connections, your next epic adventure be it Kenya’s wildlife or Morocco’s markets is just a flight away!
