Arrive at Denpasar Airport, where a private transfer will take you to your boutique resort in Ubud, the cultural and spiritual heart of Bali. In the evening, meet your fellow travellers over welcome drinks and enjoy a traditional Indonesian dinner, offering your first taste of the island’s rich flavours.
Explore Ubud on a guided tour, visiting its temples, galleries, and cultural landmarks, including the historic royal palace with its elegant architecture and tranquil water gardens. Later, visit a master Balinese mask-maker’s workshop to learn about the craftsmanship, symbolism, and rituals behind these intricate hand-carved pieces.
Take part in a traditional water purification ritual, an ancient spiritual practice believed to cleanse the body and mind of negative energy. Afterward, travel to Manggis, a quieter region known for preserving traditional Balinese life, where you’ll stay near a self-sustaining eco-farm for the next few days.
Immerse yourself in local farming traditions as you learn how sustainable agriculture is connected to Balinese Hindu values. Get hands-on by planting rice and harvesting crops before enjoying a fresh farm-to-table lunch. Spend the afternoon at leisure back at your coastal accommodation, with the option to relax or indulge in a spa treatment.
Join a local women’s farming group for a hands-on cooking class, starting with harvesting fresh ingredients before preparing a traditional three-course Balinese meal. In the afternoon, learn how to make coconut oil from scratch and create your own samples to take home.
Enjoy a free day to relax or explore, with optional activities such as snorkeling or visiting sacred sites like Pura Lempuyang Temple and Tirta Gangga. Later, transfer to your beachfront hotel in Kuta Legian, a lively yet laid-back coastal area perfect for unwinding.
Travel by speedboat to the stunning island of Nusa Penida. Visit local villages to experience traditional activities such as seaweed harvesting and weaving, then unwind at a beach club with ocean views, daybeds, and an infinity pool.
Spend your final full day at leisure, enjoying the beach or treating yourself to a traditional Balinese massage. In the evening, gather with your group for a farewell dinner by the sea, celebrating your journey together in a relaxed beachside setting.
Say your goodbyes as your journey comes to an end. Make your way to Denpasar Airport for departure, with assistance available to arrange your transfer if needed.

Yes. If you arrive on Day 1 of your adventure or book pre-tour accommodation with us, your airport arrival transfer is included. If you choose alternative pre-tour accommodation or arrive by another mode of transport, you’ll need to arrange your own arrival transfer.
Our arrival transfers are private to Soca Islands and are organised in groups based on flight times. Sometimes this means a short wait at the airport until other flights arrive.

Please keep in mind that our itinerary, activities, and hotels might change. These adjustments could happen with little notice due to factors like availability, weather conditions, seasonal shifts, or other circumstances beyond our control. Rest assured, we always aim to minimise any impact on your experience. Occasionally, we may tweak the itinerary to try out fresh ideas and keep the adventure exciting.
We believe solo travelers shouldn’t have to pay extra to explore the world. That’s why our group trips are designed around shared accommodation and do not include a single supplement. Solo travelers joining our group trips are paired in twin or multi-share rooms with another traveler of the same sex for the duration of the trip.
Some of our Independent trips are structured differently. For these itineraries, solo travelers will need to book at the single occupancy rate.
Tips are not included in the cost of this tour. Remember, tipping is entirely at your discretion and based on what you feel comfortable with.
